KNITWEAR

Fall 21 Collection

Emproved

The knitwear design process combines both fully fashioned and cut-and-sew techniques, each selected to serve the collection’s intent. Fully fashioned knitting allows for precision shaping and reduced waste, while cut-and-sew construction offers the flexibility to explore silhouettes and respond swiftly to seasonal trends.

Every collection begins with a clear understanding of the consumer — how they live, what they value, and the pieces that become part of their everyday rotation. Guided by trend research yet anchored in timeless design, each style is developed to feel relevant and enduring.

For Emproved, all yarns are selected with an environmentally responsible focus, including Ecovero, Tencel, organic cotton, recycled polyester, and recycled cashmere — fibers chosen for their sustainability as well as their tactile beauty. Production partnerships with factories in China and India are central to the process, ensuring that every stitch, finish, and fit reflects integrity, craftsmanship, and ease.

The result is knitwear that embodies both comfort and conscience — designed to feel as good to wear as it does to stand behind.

Fall 22 Collection

Ellie Mae Studios

At Ellie Mae Studios, a luxury design house in Toronto, the knitwear collection balanced craftsmanship and modern luxury through a refined and process-driven approach. In the studio, cut-and-sew garments were developed using custom patterns and high-end yarns, giving each piece a distinct identity and elevated finish. In parallel, fully fashioned knitwear was produced in collaboration with Italian factories, utilizing luxurious yarns such as wool, alpaca, cashmere, and mohair. This dual methodology created knitwear that was both experimental and polished, rooted in artisanal technique while meeting the expectations of a discerning, fashion-forward clientele.

Spring/Summer 16 Collection

Manish Arora

At Manish Arora, a luxury designer label based in New Delhi, cut-and-sew knitwear was developed in-studio alongside custom fully fashioned knit patterns created in partnership with artisans in France. Each garment was hand-embellished in Manish Arora’s signature kitsch aesthetic, combining intricate craftsmanship with bold artistic expression. The collection was showcased at Paris Fashion Week, representing a vibrant intersection of Indian artistry and global luxury design.
