The Lucid Collection of dresses and jumpsuits is a conceptual exploration of the human mind, inspired by brain scans and neural imagery. The collection translates the fragility and transformation of mental structure into material form through three-dimensional embroidery and innovative fabric manipulation. Silk satin bonded with cotton was used to alter the fabric’s natural behavior, symbolizing the shifts and distortions caused by mental illness. The result is a collection that merges science and emotion, embodying vulnerability, resilience, and the beauty of imperfection.
Spring/ Summer 2015 Collection
LDNY Foundation
The LDNY Collection of dresses and jumpsuits was created as part of the LDNY competition, where it won the Womenswear category and was later produced and showcased at the United Nations General Assembly in New York, followed by a private auction at Liberty London. The collection drew inspiration from the juxtaposition of 1920s London tailoring and the Flapper movement in New York, blending structured precision with liberated silhouettes. The result was a celebration of femininity, strength, and cultural duality, brought to life through refined craftsmanship and timeless design.
